This organization is a U.S.-based manufacturer and engineering firm headquartered in Hackensack, New Jersey, specializing in the design, development, and assembly of advanced battery systems and charging solutions.

Operating within a regulated, high-performance manufacturing environment, the company focuses on delivering custom power solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across a range of industries, including medical devices, defense, industrial applications, and emerging technologies.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Quality Manager are:

  • Lead and manage all quality programs, certifications, and compliance initiatives in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100
  • Develop, maintain, and update quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions
  • Establish and track quality objectives, KPIs, and management review reports
  • Plan and oversee:
    • Internal audits
    • Incoming and in-process inspections
    • Final product inspections
    • First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102
  • Generate and manage quality documentation, including:
    • Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
    • Production Submission Warrants (PSWs)
    • Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation

The Successful Applicant

The successful Quality Manager will have:

  • U.S. Citizenship (ITAR requirement)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience managing quality systems within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
  • Experience with audits, inspections, CARs, and FAI processes
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
