A growing precision manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee quality engineering, inspection, and continuous improvement activities at a large production site. This individual will provide hands-on leadership, develop quality talent, and help shift quality initiatives earlier in the manufacturing process to improve outcomes and operational performance.

Job Description

  • Lead and develop a team of quality professionals through multiple levels of leadership.
  • Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve product quality and process performance.
  • Drive root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Monitor quality metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality systems.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and operational excellence throughout the facility.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
  • At least five years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience leading teams in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Background in aerospace, bearing manufacturing, precision machining, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, inspection processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
