We're seeking a Quality Process Engineer to improve the accuracy, reliability, and usability of quality and operational data while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business. This individual will partner with cross-functional teams to develop reporting tools, strengthen quality systems, identify performance trends, and drive data-informed decision making.

Job Description

  • Improve the integrity, consistency, and accessibility of quality and operational data used throughout the organization.
  • Analyze quality-related data including nonconforming materials, scrap, rework, customer returns, and production trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that support Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to standardize processes and improve data collection methods.
  • Support quality data governance initiatives to ensure information remains accurate, actionable, and audit-ready.
  • Develop and enhance documentation for quality processes, reporting workflows, and system usage standards.
  • Assist with training initiatives focused on reporting systems, data integrity, and best practices.
  • Evaluate process compliance through audits, trend analysis, and performance monitoring while recommending improvements.
  • Generate reports that support corrective actions, compliance initiatives, audit activities, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Drive visibility into quality performance metrics and strengthen overall quality management processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Data Analytics, Business Systems, or a related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience within manufacturing, quality, operations, process improvement, or analytics environments.
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, databases, reporting platforms, or business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy and process consistency.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with quality systems, corrective actions, customer returns, nonconformance tracking, or audit activities is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, quality management systems, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
