The Quality Engineering Supervisor will lead a team supporting manufacturing quality, process improvements, supplier quality, and quality assurance activities across key product lines. This role partners closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement, enhance product quality, and ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Job Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of quality technicians and inspectors supporting designated product lines.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality documentation, standards, and procedures.
  • Identify quality issues within manufacturing processes and implement corrective improvement initiatives.
  • Support and participate in quality audits to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide expert guidance on product development, process improvements, and quality engineering best practices.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance and collaborate with vendors to drive improvements.
  • Analyze quality metrics, report key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve product performance, quality, and cost efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing quality, or a related field.
  • Previous leadership experience is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for an individual contributor ready for the next step.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, auditing practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier partners.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • AS9100 experience.
