Job Description

  • Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Lead sales, quoting, and proposal development efforts.
  • Coordinate preconstruction activities and design collaboration with clients, architects, and Butler Manufacturing.
  • Manage project documentation, RFIs, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support project execution, material coordination, and issue resolution from planning through completion.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB), manufacturing, or a similar industry.
  • Familiarity with Butler Manufacturing systems and PEMB projects is a plus.
  • Knowledge of construction sales, estimating, preconstruction planning, and project coordination.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and project management capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
  • Self-motivated problem solver who works well independently and across cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, project support, and industry events as needed.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and navigate construction drawings and specifications.
