Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent will:

  • Assist with day-to-day field operations on multifamily and residential construction projects
  • Support project schedules and coordinate subcontractor activities
  • Conduct jobsite walks to monitor quality, safety, and progress
  • Help maintain project documentation, reports, and field records
  • Assist with inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics
  • Identify and communicate field issues to project leadership
  • Support punch list completion and project closeout activities
  • Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
  • Promote jobsite safety and enforce company standards

The Successful Applicant

The successful Assistant Superintendent will have:

  • 2+ years of construction field experience
  • Multifamily, residential, or commercial construction experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and jobsite operations
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple trades and priorities on active jobsites
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Desire to grow into a Superintendent role
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset
