Job Description

The Residential Construction Manager - Boston, MA - $150k is responsible for

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through project completion
  • Coordinate with internal leadership, Project Managers, architects, designers, and subcontractors
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and production timelines
  • Manage site logistics, materials, deliveries, and inventory control
  • Lead weekly production meetings and provide consistent progress updates
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Maintain accurate project documentation (daily logs, RFIs, photos, safety records)
  • Enforce job site safety, compliance, and security while supervising field teams

The Successful Applicant

A successful Residential Construction Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of residential or comparable construction management experience
  • Proven experience managing high-end remodeling or large-scale construction projects
  • Strong leadership across subcontractors, trades, and carpentry teams
  • Client-facing experience with strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and quality control processes
  • Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) required
  • RRP Certification required
  • Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
  • Open to candidates from luxury residential, commercial, or multifamily backgrounds
