Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead all field operations for retail, tenant improvement, commercial interior, and renovation projects
    • Manage jobsite safety, quality control, and daily project execution
    • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and trade partners throughout all phases of construction
    • Develop and maintain project schedules while ensuring critical milestones are achieved
    • Manage work in occupied buildings with minimal disruption to customers, tenants, and ongoing business operations
    • Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documents to ensure successful execution
    • Conduct daily site walks and proactively identify potential issues before they impact project performance
    • Coordinate inspections, punch list activities, and project closeout efforts
    • Maintain strong communication with Project Managers, clients, architects, consultants, and ownership groups
    • Ensure all work is completed according to contract requirements, project specifications, and company quality standards
    • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress, safety, and schedule status
    • Drive accountability across all trades to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or field leader within commercial construction
  • Proven experience leading retail construction, tenant improvement, commercial interiors, store remodels, fit-outs, renovations, or occupied-space projects
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, quality control, safety management, and subcontractor coordination
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple trades and maintain productivity in fast-paced project environments
  • Experience working within active facilities where customer experience and operational continuity are critical
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with owners, architects, subcontractors, tenants, and project teams
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • A proactive, positive, accountable leader who takes ownership of project success and thrives in a collaborative team environment
