Safety Director - Commercial/Civil - Baltimore, MD

• Lead and manage the company's safety department across multiple business units
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide safety programs and initiatives
• Conduct jobsite visits, inspections, audits, and safety assessments across active projects
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations, corrective action plans, and root-cause analysis
• Manage workers' compensation processes and collaborate on risk mitigation strategies
• Deliver and coordinate all internal safety training programs and compliance initiatives
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Create, update, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and best practices
• Mentor, coach, and develop safety staff while fostering a culture of accountability
• Partner with operations leadership to proactively identify and address safety concerns
• Split time between the corporate office and field operations to provide visible leadership and support
