This newly created role will lead the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise-wide business processes focused on Engineering Bills of Material (EBOM), Manufacturing Bills of Material (mBOM), Engineering Change Management, and Work-in-Process (WIP) visibility.

Job Description

  • Own end-to-end engineering-to-manufacturing business processes, including EBOM, mBOM, engineering change management, and WIP visibility.
  • Define and implement future-state business process frameworks, governance models, and operating procedures.
  • Lead enterprise BOM governance, ensuring accurate product structures, lifecycle management, traceability, and change control.
  • Establish and maintain WIP visibility standards, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and actionable production data.
  • Serve as the business lead during system implementations, managing process design, testing, deployment, and stabilization activities.
  • Partner closely with system integrators, technology teams, and business leaders while maintaining ownership of business process decisions.
  • Develop and execute testing strategies, including end-to-end process validation, user acceptance testing, and deployment readiness activities.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, training, communication, and change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, materials management, planning, inventory, costing, and quality teams to ensure seamless process integration.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics related to BOM quality, process effectiveness, engineering changes, WIP accuracy, and operational throughput.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and post-implementation optimization efforts.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Business Process Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in business process management, manufacturing operations, PLM, engineering systems, ERP transformation, or related disciplines.
  • Strong experience with EBOM, mBOM, product lifecycle management (PLM), engineering change management, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience leading large-scale ERP, PLM, digital manufacturing, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of engineering-to-manufacturing workflows within complex manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Experience developing business process governance frameworks and driving organizational change.
  • Strong project leadership, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, PLM, MES, or related enterprise systems is highly preferred.
