Job Description

  • Serve as the primary supply chain and procurement partner for designated customer programs.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that support production schedules, new product introductions, and long-term business objectives.
  • Manage the full purchase order life cycle, ensuring material availability aligns with customer demand and forecast requirements.
  • Build strong supplier relationships while actively monitoring delivery performance, commitments, and potential risks.
  • Identify alternative suppliers and sourcing solutions to minimize shortages and supply chain disruptions.
  • Lead material expediting efforts and resolve procurement challenges to maintain production continuity.
  • Drive inventory optimization initiatives that improve inventory turns and support working capital goals.
  • Analyze demand changes, backlog fluctuations, and inventory trends to guide business decisions.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and action plans to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Partner with internal teams to enhance supply chain performance and customer delivery metrics.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or materials management.
  • Background within manufacturing, electronics, technology, or other complex production environments.
  • Proven experience managing supplier performance, material availability, and delivery schedules.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues, develop solutions, and drive results.
  • Electronic component sourcing experience is highly preferred.
