Job Description

Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior Development Manager will take ownership of multiple development projects and play a key role in driving business growth and project execution.

  • Lead the full lifecycle of development projects from site evaluation through construction completion and operational handover.
  • Manage relationships with clients, equity partners, lenders, municipalities, consultants, and contractors.
  • Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, cash flows, and financial feasibility analyses.
  • Direct entitlement, zoning, permitting, and public approval processes.
  • Lead consultant and contractor procurement, negotiations, and contract administration.
  • Oversee design development, construction execution, cost control, and project reporting.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying and evaluating new development opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

For the Senior Development Manager we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or Finance qualification preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant development, construction, real estate, or project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing development projects valued between $10 million and $40 million or larger.
  • Strong financial analysis, budgeting, underwriting, and project feasibility experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Experience working with complex entitlement, permitting, and regulatory processes.
