We're seeking a seasoned Senior Estimator to play a critical leadership role within a nationally respected environmental remediation and heavy civil contractor. This position offers the opportunity to lead pursuits on complex environmental, excavation, earthwork, and infrastructure projects across the United States while working remotely.

The company is known for self-performing its work, maintaining a strong safety culture, and solving challenging environmental and geotechnical construction issues.

Job Description

  • Prepare detailed estimates for environmental remediation and heavy civil projects
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, bid packages, and geotechnical reports
  • Estimate contaminated soil excavation and environmental cleanup work
  • Price large-scale earthwork, grading, excavation, and site development scopes
  • Evaluate soil stabilization, shoring, sheet piling, and SOE systems
  • Support renewable energy and solar-related civil sitework estimates
  • Review subcontractor and supplier proposals
  • Develop organized, traceable, and defensible estimates
  • Collaborate with operations and executive leadership teams
  • Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and documentation

The Successful Applicant



Senior Estimator (Environmental & Heavy Civil):

  • 20+ years of estimating experience
  • Strong environmental remediation background
  • Experience with contaminated soil and environmental cleanup projects
  • Expertise in excavation, earthwork, grading, and site development
  • Knowledge of sheet piling, shoring, and soil treatment systems
  • Experience estimating solar-supporting civil scopes
  • Background with utility installation work
  • Ability to build detailed and accurate estimates
  • Experience with self-performing contractors preferred
