About Our Client

Our client is a relationship-driven General Contractor focused on negotiated work throughout Chicago. Their portfolio includes commercial, mixed-use, healthcare, hospitality, and corporate interior projects with a high percentage of repeat clients.

Job Description

  • Develop conceptual and detailed project estimates
  • Review drawings and specifications during preconstruction
  • Participate in budgeting and value engineering discussions
  • Work directly with owners, architects, and development teams
  • Analyze subcontractor proposals and scope coverage
  • Support GMP development and negotiated project pursuits
  • Assist business development efforts through strong client interactions
  • Maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor
  • Experience with commercial, mixed-use, multifamily, or healthcare projects
  • Strong conceptual estimating capabilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with negotiated and design-build projects preferred
