Senior Manufacturing Engineer- Defense- Lexington, MA

• Lead manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
• Design, develop, and optimize tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing solutions that improve product quality, throughput, and repeatability.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support to production personnel and supervisors.
• Develop, update, and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
• Implement process improvements that enhance cost, quality, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand manufacturing requirements and drive effective process changes.
• Coordinate manufacturing development activities with production scheduling and operational priorities.
• Establish and maintain process controls, including statistical process control (SPC) methods where appropriate.
• Support root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Identify, specify, and procure manufacturing equipment, tooling, and materials that support operational goals.
• Evaluate opportunities for automation, equipment upgrades, and process optimization.
