Our client manufactures testing equipment and provides laboratory services to assess how materials withstand sunlight, UV exposure, weathering, and corrosion, helping companies ensure product durability and quality

Job Description

  • Lead cross functional teams to identify, quantify, and execute methods to lower cost and improve productivity and manufacturability
  • Project management excellence: requirements delivery, technical risk mitigation, cost, timelines
  • Design, manage, and implement new machinery, tooling, and electro-mechanical test fixtures to support production of products and services
  • Create and maintain all forms of engineering documentation
  • Advanced understanding of industrial electronics and electrical controls/systems with design and build experience
  • High level of expertise in rapid prototyping and fabrication methods: sheet metal forming, machining, welding, injection molding, etc.
  • Experience with Fanuc robotic programming
  • Experience with CNC VMC programming

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial)
  • 10+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands on experience with custom design as well as building with commercially available components
  • Expert-level problem solver that blends independent thinking with creativity and collaboration
  • Demonstrated proficiency in product costing and capital equipment projects
  • Highly proficient with 3D CAD tools (Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.)
  • No sponsorship provided
