Job Description

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes that support production efficiency, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Lead process development activities for new product introductions and production launches.
  • Analyze existing manufacturing operations and identify opportunities to improve productivity and process capability.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize manufacturing equipment and production processes.
  • Design and develop tooling, fixtures, gauges, and process solutions that support manufacturing objectives.
  • Apply Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies to drive sustainable operational gains.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Validate product and process quality through testing methods, process capability analysis, and data-driven decision making.
  • Evaluate capital equipment investments, develop business cases, and manage equipment implementation projects.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, quality, tooling, and customer teams to deliver manufacturing solutions and improve product performance.
  • Maintain engineering documentation, process procedures, and performance reporting.
  • Own and enhance PFMEA activities to strengthen process reliability and risk mitigation efforts.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related industrial environment.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing process development, continuous improvement, and production optimization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of machining processes such as grinding, turning, honing, and milling is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of automotive quality systems, ISO/IATF standards, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience using statistical methods, process controls, and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for process improvement, quality, and operational excellence.
