The company delivers advanced polymer processing solutions that help manufacturers improve productivity, product quality, and operational efficiencyJob DescriptionDesign machine systems and components to meet customer specifications and project requirements.Develop 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and bills of materials utilizing SolidWorks.Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses to support both new product development and enhancements to existing designs.Design and modify mechanical assemblies involving drivetrains, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electro-mechanical systems.Partner with purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and commissioning teams throughout the equipment build process.Evaluate equipment performance, reliability, safety, and manufacturability.Conduct root cause investigations and develop practical engineering solutions to resolve technical challenges.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to service teams and customers.Participate in testing activities, analyze performance data, and implement design improvements as needed.Prepare engineering documentation, technical reports, and supporting design records.Support commercial, manufacturing, service, and customer-facing teams with technical expertise.Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.Perform other duties as assigned.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
