Our client is looking for a strong, motivated Senior Operations Financial Analyst to join their $3B PE backed manufacturer near Schaumburg, IL. Reporting into the Plant Controller, this role will support the manufacturing, cost accounting, and financial analysis/forecasting for a plant, CAPEX, and their tolling services.Job DescriptionMonitor plant performance and financial results by analyzing production output, manufacturing costs, standard cost performance, key cost drivers, and variances against operating plans.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, including monthly forecasts, variance analysis, month-end close activities, and communication of financial performance to plant and corporate stakeholders.Maintain accurate product costing and inventory valuation through oversight of bills of materials, costing structures, standard costs, and related financial controls.Ensure the integrity of financial and capital reporting by partnering with controlling teams to maintain compliance with US GAAP and support timely, accurate financial disclosures.Support capital planning and investment decision-making through development of long-range strategic plans, cash flow forecasts, business cases, and financial analyses for major capital projects.Evaluate and monitor capital project performance, reviewing project financials, validating expected benefits, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities to maximize return on investment.Provide financial leadership and business partnership to operations, logistics, demand planning, and senior leadership teams by delivering insights that support strategic initiatives and operational objectives.Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and special projects, preparing executive presentations, responding to business requests, and delivering actionable recommendations to support organizational goals.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
