Job Description

  • Lead daily manufacturing and operational activities to ensure quality, delivery, compliance, and customer commitments are consistently achieved.
  • Manage internal production operations, contract manufacturing partners, production testing, facilities, and operational support functions.
  • Develop and implement scalable processes, systems, and KPIs to support continued organizational growth.
  • Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and data driven decision making.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Product Development teams to support product launches and ongoing operations.
  • Lead production planning, schedule attainment, material readiness, and operational execution to meet business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with manufacturing partners and ensure performance, quality, and delivery expectations are met.
  • Maintain a hands on leadership presence on the production floor while fostering a culture of accountability, urgency, and teamwork.
  • Work directly with executive leadership to help shape and execute the company's operational strategy.
  • Grow into the organization's future Operations Leadership role as the business continues to scale.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Operations Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience in a regulated or highly controlled environment.
  • Demonstrated success improving manufacturing performance, efficiency, quality, and delivery metrics.
  • Strong experience managing contract manufacturers and external production partners.
  • A hands on leadership style with the willingness to spend time on the production floor solving problems and supporting the team.
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and data driven decision making.
  • The ability to build scalable operational processes and infrastructure within a growing organization.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence teams across all levels of the organization.
  • A desire to take on increasing levels of responsibility and ultimately lead operations at the executive level.
