These products enable the production of microchips that power technologies such as artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, consumer electronics, and data infrastructure.Job DescriptionThis individual will play a key role in supporting existing production processes while driving technology development, scale-up activities, and operational excellence programs across the manufacturing organization.Manufacturing Process SupportMonitor and optimize high-volume manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.Troubleshoot process issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.Develop, maintain, and improve process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.Support quality, environmental, health, and safety initiatives while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.Lead investigations related to nonconforming materials, process deviations, and manufacturing issues.Process Improvement & Technical LeadershipLead complex process improvement initiatives focused on yield, throughput, quality, and cost reduction.Provide technical expertise for challenging manufacturing and engineering problems.Conduct statistical analysis, trend reviews, and process capability studies utilizing SPC methodologies and statistical software.Drive implementation of best practices in process engineering and chemical manufacturing.New Product Introduction & Scale-UpLead new product development and technology transfer activities from pilot scale through commercial manufacturing.Manage process qualification efforts to ensure successful scale-up and commercialization.Conduct shelf-life studies, process validation activities, and technical evaluations to support product launches.Prepare technical reports, Management of Change (MOC) documentation, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).Purification Technology DevelopmentLead development and optimization of advanced purification processes, including:DistillationFiltration and nano-filtrationIon exchangeAdvanced separation technologiesEvaluate and implement emerging process technologies to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.Supplier, Customer & Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, commercial, and quality teams to support business objectives.Work closely with strategic suppliers to align raw material specifications and sourcing strategies.Participate in customer meetings, audits, technical reviews, and issue resolution activities.Support customer inquiries and investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D.Experimental Design & Data AnalysisDesign and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) studies to evaluate process variables and raw material impacts.Utilize statistical tools including ANOVA and process capability analysis to drive data-based decisions.Analyze experimental results and implement improvements that enhance product quality and process robustness.Project ManagementLead cross-functional capital, process improvement, and technology development projects.Develop project plans, manage milestones, and ensure successful execution against objectives.Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
