This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability, quality, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity.Job DescriptionLead strategic sourcing activities for direct materials including electronic components, plastic resins, mechanical parts, metal components, packaging materials, and finished goods.Identify, evaluate, qualify, and manage domestic and international suppliers.Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support business objectives and ensure uninterrupted supply.Negotiate supplier pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements.Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.Monitor supplier performance related to cost, quality, delivery, and service.Build strong supplier partnerships and support supplier development programs.Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Planning, Sales, and Marketing teams to support new product launches and ongoing production requirements.Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, material availability, and supplier capacity to mitigate supply chain risks.Support procurement processes and sourcing decisions using data-driven analysis and performance metrics.Anticipate and resolve supply issues while maintaining material availability and production schedules.Contribute to strategic initiatives that improve sourcing efficiency and operational excellence.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
