This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys balancing technical expertise with project leadership and business impact.Job DescriptionLead capital projects from concept through commissioning and operational hand off.Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Build business cases and cost justifications for capital funding requests.Manage multiple concurrent projects, typically overseeing 6-12 projects at various stages of execution.Track project milestones, budgets, risks, and overall project performance.Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, operations, quality, safety, purchasing, and external contractors.Support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and validation activities.Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, equipment reliability, productivity, and material flow.Develop and execute process improvement initiatives, production trials, and prototyping activities.Analyze operational data and make recommendations based on findings.Evaluate new technologies, manufacturing methods, and automation opportunities.Create implementation plans, operating procedures, and supporting documentation.Present project updates, recommendations, and business proposals to leadership.Support long-term manufacturing improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.Work on projects ranging from approximately $20K to $300K in value and spanning from several months to over a year in duration.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
