Job Description

  • Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost
  • Lead investigations into nonconforming products, including containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Track and manage Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics to drive performance improvements
  • Partner with customers to address quality concerns through reviews, discussions, and presentations
  • Review and approve compliance documentation such as FAI, EIDP, and inspection records
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to optimize processes and systems
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to procedures and regulatory standards
  • Mentor junior quality engineers and support their professional development
  • Develop and implement rework procedures for nonconforming materials

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a specialized quality or engineering discipline OR 12 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree OR 6 years with a Master's degree OR 3 years with a PhD
  • Strong experience with quality assurance, manufacturing processes, and root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards, compliance documentation, and audit processes
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives and influence cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills for customer-facing and internal collaboration
  • Experience with AS9100 preferred
