Job Description

  • Serve as the organization's subject matter expert for CMM programming, metrology, and advanced measurement technologies, developing and optimizing inspection solutions using PC-DMIS and other measurement systems.
  • Drive inspection process improvements by identifying workflow inefficiencies, implementing automation strategies, and enhancing throughput, consistency, and repeatability.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain robust measurement systems and inspection methods for new and existing products, including CMM, optical, and advanced metrology equipment.
  • Lead statistical analysis and measurement validation activities, including MSA, Gauge R&R, capability studies, and data-driven inspection strategies.
  • Partner with quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams to support product launches, process investigations, continuous improvement initiatives, and metrology training programs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical field.
  • Strong hands-on CMM programming experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Hexagon PC-DMIS software.
  • Advanced metrology and dimensional inspection experience.
  • Experience with optical measurement systems and automated inspection technologies.
  • Strong understanding of hand metrology tools and dimensional inspection methods.
  • Experience conducting MSA and Gauge R&R studies.
  • Knowledge of statistical quality methods, sampling plans, and process capability analysis.
  • Ability to independently develop creative measurement solutions for complex inspection challenges.
  • Proven track record improving inspection efficiency, throughput, and measurement system performance.
