Job Description

  • Design and develop advanced power electronics and DC/DC converter products within an R&D environment.
  • Lead product development efforts from initial concept through manufacturing release and production support.
  • Create and optimize power conversion designs, control systems, and electronic circuitry.
  • Perform magnetics design, analog circuit design, component selection, simulation, testing, and validation activities.
  • Develop functional product specifications and technical documentation packages.
  • Support PCB layout activities and design-for-manufacturability initiatives.
  • Analyze and solve complex engineering challenges related to power conversion and electrical performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with external customers to support project objectives and product success.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies and developing next-generation power electronics solutions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of power electronics design experience.
  • Expertise in AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, voltage regulator modules, bus converters, or related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of high-frequency switching power supply topologies and control architectures.
  • Experience with magnetics design, power conversion circuitry, simulation tools, testing, and validation.
  • Understanding of PCB layout principles, feedback control systems, EMC compliance, and interface circuit design.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced R&D environment.
