A national GC focused exclusively on Federal construction projects. A top ENR Rated GC every year for the last 10 years.

Job Description

  • Design and analyze structural systems for various construction projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop project plans and specifications.
  • Perform structural calculations and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Oversee project timelines and budgets to meet client expectations.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any structural concerns.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural engineering practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Structural Engineer should have:

  • A master's degree in Structural Engineering (required).
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (required).
  • 15+ years of experience in structural design and project delivery, or equivalent within industrial construction projects
  • Experience managing projects for the Department of Defense is preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA, Revit, Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
  • Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
