Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage overall project schedules, including short-term planning.
  • Allocate labor resources and establish working budgets aligned with project goals.
  • Monitor progress and proactively resolve issues to maintain momentum and quality.
  • Track and control costs related to labor, materials, and equipment to ensure profitability.
  • Lead self-perform crews and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Champion client satisfaction by understanding and meeting expectations.
  • Foster a positive team culture through clear communication, mentorship, and motivation.
  • Provide guidance and support to other field supervisors.
  • Promote a safety-first mindset and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Represent the company professionally to clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
  • Build trust and credibility through consistent communication and integrity.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience leading commercial construction projects from start to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Proven track record of independently managing completed projects as a Superintendent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships with clients and teams.
