Key responsibilities include:Lead daily site operations from mobilization through commissioning and turnoverManage and drive project milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of complex mission critical facilitiesCoordinate shutdowns, tie-ins, and critical path activities with minimal operational riskReview construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure field complianceLead pull planning sessions and short-interval scheduling efforts with trade partnersMonitor labor productivity, manpower forecasts, and resource allocation across all construction phasesIdentify schedule constraints and implement recovery plans to mitigate delaysOversee quality control processes and ensure all work meets project specifications and client expectationsFacilitate preconstruction planning, logistics coordination, and site mobilization activitiesSupport commissioning, startup, integrated systems testing, and turnover proceduresEnsure adherence to mission critical construction best practices and owner requirementsCoordinate material deliveries and equipment installations to support project sequencingTrack and verify completion of punch list items through project closeoutManage site logistics, security, and access control in active construction environmentsConduct constructability reviews and assist in resolving design conflicts in the fieldInterface directly with clients, owners, inspectors, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs)Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and incident investigations when requiredMonitor and enforce quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) standards throughout constructionSupport procurement planning by identifying long-lead equipment and potential supply chain risksEnsure proper execution of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls installationsMaintain readiness for client audits, inspections, and compliance reviewsChampion Lean Construction methodologies and continuous improvement initiativesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholdersEvaluate field performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to project team membersParticipate in project budgeting discussions and cost-control efforts related to field operationsDrive a culture focused on safety, quality, operational excellence, and client satisfactionMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
