Job Description

  • Lead and manage all onsite construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure critical milestones are achieved.
  • Enforce company and project-specific safety standards and procedures.
  • Oversee quality control and ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and closeout activities.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule, cost, or quality.
  • Conduct regular site meetings and maintain clear communication across the project team.
  • Mentor and develop junior Superintendents and field staff.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Superintendent should have:

  • Healthcare construction experience is required.
  • Experience managing complex, occupied, or highly regulated healthcare environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
  • Ability to lead large subcontractor teams and coordinate multiple trades.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with construction technology and project management platforms.
