Known for delivering quality workmanship and precision-fabricated products, the organization specializes in producing structural and miscellaneous steel components for a variety of construction and infrastructure projects.The company offers a team-oriented environment where employees have the opportunity to develop their skills, work with advanced fabrication equipment, and contribute to meaningful projects throughout the industry.Job DescriptionAs a Building and Construction Shop Fabricator, in Rochester, NY you will:Fabricate structural steel products for buildings and bridgesProduce beams, columns, braces, stairs, railings, ladders, and related componentsReceive and stage incoming materials using overhead cranesPrepare materials through cleaning, cutting, drilling, and processingProgram and operate CNC fabrication equipmentCut and organize parts using CNC plasma tables, angle lines, saws, and ironworkersAssemble components according to shop drawings and specificationsPerform layout, fit-up, bolting, and tack welding activitiesConduct quality checks throughout fabrication and assemblyInspect completed work for accuracy and compliance with industry standardsPrepare finished products for galvanizing or shop primer applicationsLoad finished products onto trailers for shipmentMaintain load logs and prepare shipping documentation for deliveriesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
