Our client is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent in Manhattan. They will oversee day-to-day field operations, manage subcontractors and vendors, coordinate with Project Managers and design teams, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to the highest quality standards. Job Description

  • Take full responsibility for day-to-day field operations on assigned projects.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
  • Coordinate daily activities with the Project Manager and project team.
  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Monitor quality control and ensure work meets project specifications.
  • Coordinate inspections, deliveries, building access, and site logistics.
  • Identify potential schedule, quality, or coordination issues and proactively resolve them.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.
  • Conduct regular site walks and track project progress.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, owners, and building management.
  • Manage punch-list activities and project closeout.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Site Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of construction experience, with significant Site Superintendent experience preferred.
  • Strong background in high-end residential construction and gut renovations.
  • Experience with apartments, condos, townhomes, penthouses, or similar luxury residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of NYC construction practices, sequencing, and site logistics.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Procore or other construction management software experience is a plus.
