Sitework Estimator: Civil Construction - Middlesex, NJ

Hiring Need / Day to DayDue to continued growth and an increasing volume of private and public sitework projects, our client is seeking a skilled Civil Construction Sitework Estimator to join the team.Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents for site development and civil construction projects
• Preparing detailed quantity takeoffs for excavation, grading, utilities, drainage, paving, and concrete work
• Soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Developing accurate project budgets, proposals, and bid packages
• Identifying project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions
• Coordinating with operations, project management, and executive leadership throughout the bidding process
• Attending pre-bid meetings and maintaining relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
• Tracking awarded and lost bids to improve estimating accuracy and competitiveness
