A growing manufacturer is seeking an SPC Coordinator to leverage statistical process control methodologies and manufacturing data to improve operational performance. This individual will work closely with Continuous Improvement leadership to identify trends, reduce waste, optimize machine performance, and drive measurable process improvements across the facility.

Job Description

  • Analyze production and machine-generated data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control techniques to evaluate process capability and manufacturing performance.
  • Partner with Continuous Improvement, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams on strategic initiatives.
  • Investigate scrap, downtime, and production trends to support operational improvements.
  • Develop reporting tools and performance metrics that support data-driven decision making.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements that improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.

The Successful Applicant

A successful SPC Coordinator should have:

  • Associate's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of five years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Statistical Process Control experience with demonstrated application in production settings.
  • Ability to analyze manufacturing data and translate findings into actionable improvements.
  • Experience supporting Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
