We are seeking an SPC Coordinator to support quality and manufacturing performance through statistical analysis, process control, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will partner closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to reduce defects, improve process capability, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Job Description

  • Analyze manufacturing and quality data to evaluate process capability and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize statistical databases, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor real-time production trends and implement corrective actions to improve process stability and product quality.
  • Train and support manufacturing and engineering teams on SPC methodologies, problem-solving tools, and quality systems.
  • Lead or contribute to Lean and Six Sigma initiatives focused on reducing waste, variation, and defects.
  • Partner with production, quality, management, suppliers, and customers to drive process improvements and effective communication.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to plant performance, project progress, and quality metrics.
  • Manage Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities, including Gauge R&R, stability studies, and calibration support programs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality, statistical analysis, process improvement, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience utilizing SPC software and data collection systems such as JMP, NWA, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards including ISO 9001 and AS9100.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with experience training and collaborating across teams.
  • Understanding of MSA, Gauge R&R, process capability analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Six Sigma and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certifications are highly preferred
