This role works closely with engineering, tooling, and quality teams to optimize and sustain manufacturing processes that drive efficient, repeatable, and reliable production performance.Job DescriptionLead and own Swiss machining process development from prototype through production release.Develop, validate, and optimize complex CNC programs for Swiss/Citizen, Tsugami, and Star machines.Establish standardized setup documentation, tooling libraries, and process parameters.Design and approve fixture, work holding, and cutting tool strategies.Perform root cause analysis for scrap, rework, and downtime; implement corrective actions.Support quoting by developing cycle times and manufacturing process strategies.Conduct process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and support FAI validation activities.Drive Lean initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, OEE improvement, and tool life optimization.Mentor and provide technical guidance to programmers, setup personnel, and junior engineersEvaluate capital equipment and tooling investments to improve productivity and capacity.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
