Apply Today!Job DescriptionDesign and develop products and systems by analyzing customer requirements, market trends, and competitive products.Apply core engineering principles to product design, including mechanics, hydraulics and moreUtilize SolidWorks 3D CAD software to create parts, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.Collaborate with Manufacturing and Assembly teams throughout design and prototype development to ensure manufacturable and production-ready solutions.Manage prototype development, including dimensional inspections, assembly, and coordination of outsourced components and secondary services.Verify product performance and system functionality by developing test plans, executing tests, collecting and analyzing data, and documenting findings.Develop item masters, bills of materials, and cost estimates for products in development.Prepare and maintain product instruction sheets and manuals using Composer, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat.Provide technical support to internal departments, including Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Production Planning.Plan, track, and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.Support overall team objectives by completing additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
