The organization is investing in advanced quality systems, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, creating a unique opportunity for a metrology expert to make a significant impact.Job DescriptionCMM Programming & Metrology Leadership: Serve as the company's primary CMM programming and metrology expert; develop, optimize, and maintain advanced CMM programs using Hexagon PC-DMIS; create measurement strategies for complex components and assemblies; provide technical leadership on metrology best practices and technologies.Inspection Process Improvement: Partner with inspectors and quality teams to evaluate workflows, identify bottlenecks, improve inspection throughput and efficiency, and reduce manual inspection through automation and process optimization.Measurement Systems Development: Implement and optimize CMM, optical measurement, and advanced inspection systems; evaluate new metrology technologies; support measurement system validation and qualification; establish robust measurement methods.Statistical Analysis & Measurement Validation: Conduct MSA studies, lead Gauge R&R and capability assessments, develop sampling plans and inspection strategies, and use data-driven methods to improve measurement accuracy.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support manufacturing and engineering teams with dimensional analysis and process investigations; participate in NPI activities; drive continuous improvement; and train inspectors and quality personnel on measurement techniques and metrology best practices.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
