Job Description

  • Serve as the primary procurement contact, aligning material availability with customer demand and revenue goals
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across production and new product initiatives
  • Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, timing, and material readiness
  • Track supplier performance, confirm delivery schedules, and communicate risks or changes
  • Identify and qualify alternate suppliers to mitigate shortages and reduce supply risk
  • Drive expediting efforts and supplier follow-ups to maintain consistent material flow
  • Optimize inventory levels and develop stocking strategies to improve efficiency
  • Analyze backlog, demand changes, and inventory updates to support decision-making
  • Provide clear program updates, including actions, ownership, and timelines

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience in manufacturing or similar environment
  • Strong experience with material sourcing and supplier management (electronics knowledge preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage expediting, backlog, and on-time delivery performance
  • Advanced Excel and systems proficiency with strong analytical capability
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear status updates
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities
  • Proactive, data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving and ownership
