Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for a $26M ground-up hotel project in Charlotte, NC.
  • Oversee construction of a 113,039-square-foot, five-storey, 145-room hospitality development.
  • Manage daily field operations, site logistics, safety, quality, scheduling, and subcontractor performance.
  • Coordinate project execution from the planned start date of 9 October 2026 through the 22-month project duration.
  • Supervise and mentor an Assistant Superintendent assigned to the project.
  • Drive schedule adherence, productivity, and project milestones while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with project management, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership representatives.
  • Oversee construction involving ICF systems, load-bearing metal studs, bar joists, and pour-in-place metal deck assemblies.
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and productive job site environment.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and company standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sr Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience serving as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent on ground-up Hotels or Multifamily construction projects.
  • Ability to successfully lead field operations on projects valued in the $20M+ range.
  • Experience managing complex schedules, subcontractors, site logistics, safety, and quality control.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop field personnel.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with project stakeholders.
  • Hospitality, commercial, multifamily, healthcare, education, or similarly complex project experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of structural systems including concrete, metal stud, bar joist, and deck construction is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to safety, accountability, and project excellence.
