The company combines a collaborative culture with a commitment to operational excellence, offering employees the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing their careers in a stable and supportive environment.Job DescriptionStaff Accountant Responsibilities:Prepare and record financial transactions to support accurate reporting and period-end close activities.Analyze general ledger activity and investigate unusual balances or variances.Reconcile cash, balance sheet, and other key accounts while identifying and resolving discrepancies.Assist with indirect tax reporting and related compliance requirements.Monitor revenue-related transactions and investigate items requiring financial review.Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.Partner with business leaders to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.Support external auditors and provide documentation required during audit engagements.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.Provide accounting support across multiple finance functions when needed.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
