Job Description

  • Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to maintain project timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with codes and standards.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and project documentation.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Experience managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills to oversee daily site operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant worksite.
