Job Description

  • Serve as the #2 Superintendent on a 250-unit ground-up multifamily community.
  • Assist in managing construction activities for a wood-frame project featuring a two-level garage beneath a podium transfer deck.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and field operations to maintain schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Partner closely with senior field leadership, project management, and trade partners throughout all phases of construction.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety standards and quality control processes.
  • Help drive successful project completion while maintaining strong relationships with ownership and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on large-scale multifamily construction projects.
  • Strong background in ground-up wood-frame multifamily developments.
  • Experience supporting complex projects with structured parking, podium construction, or similar components preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage field operations effectively.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and schedule performance.
  • Local or relocatable to the Chapel Hill / Raleigh-Durham market preferred.
