They have a large-scale project ongoing in theCharlottesville area and are seeking an experienced Superintendent with sitework/earthwork experience to join their team.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent - Charlottesville , VA - Sitework & Earthwork will be responsible for:Overseeing all on-site construction activities for sitework and earthwork projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budgetManaging daily field operations, including subcontractors, crews, equipment, and material deliveriesEnforcing strict adherence to safety standards, company policies, and OSHA regulationsCoordinating project schedules and sequencing to maintain productivity and meet key milestonesReading and interpreting plans, specifications, and project documents to ensure accurate execution of workCollaborating closely with Project Managers to track progress, resolve issues, and communicate updatesConducting regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with project requirementsIdentifying and proactively addressing potential risks, delays, or field-related challengesMaintaining accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation of site activitiesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teamsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
