They offer a collaborative environment with strong leadership support and clear advancement pathways for top performers.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent - Civil/Highway - Reston, VA will be responsible for:Oversee day-to-day construction operations across assigned public works projectsPlan project sequencing, logistics, and resource allocationLead and manage field crews and subcontractors to hit production goalsInterpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to guide executionChampion a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA and company standardsConduct safety meetings, site inspections and job hazard analyzesPartner with Project Managers to develop and maintain project schedulesMonitor project progress and adjust resources to stay on trackEnsure work meets quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirementsCoordinate inspections with agencies, owners, and third party inspectorsMaintain accurate daily reports, logs and project documentationAct as the main point of contact for clients, engineers, and public agenciesSupport public-facing communication on projects impacting communitiesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
