They have cultivated a people-first culture that prioritizes employee well-being, work-life balance, professional development, and long-term career growth.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent | Commercial Construction | Charlottesville, VA will:Direct all on-site construction activities from project startup through closeout.Manage project schedules and ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, and on time.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel.Partner closely with Project Managers to maintain budget, schedule, and quality objectives.Lead daily site operations, safety meetings, and construction planning efforts.Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve field challenges.Maintain project documentation, reports, and communication with stakeholders.Ensure all work is completed according to contract documents, company standards, and client expectations.Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, and field staff when applicable.Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project partners.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
