With a strong financial foundation, collaborative culture, and consistent growth, they provide employees with long-term career development and ownership opportunities.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Richmond, VA will:Lead daily field operations on ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects.Manage project schedules and coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure milestones are achieved.Enforce site safety standards and cultivate a culture focused on jobsite safety and compliance.Collaborate with project managers, clients, design teams, and trade partners throughout the construction process.Identify construction challenges proactively and develop effective solutions to maintain project momentum.Monitor quality control efforts and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.Coordinate inspections and maintain project documentation.Drive project completion while maintaining budget, schedule, and quality expectations.Utilize construction management software, including Procore, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office.Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to field teams and subcontractors.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
