Job Description

The Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Richmond, VA will be responsible for:

  • Managing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Developing and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports to track progress effectively.
  • Identifying and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Communicating project updates and milestones to leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Driving continuous improvement within construction processes and practices.
  • Overseeing the procurement of materials and resources needed for project success.

The Successful Applicant

The Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Richmond, VA should have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor
  • Proven experience in managing construction projects, such as industrial, restaurants, retail spaces, multifamily, educaiton, and hospitality
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to work with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • A focus on quality, safety, and compliance standards in all aspects of work.
