We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the complete renovation and historic restoration of a federal border crossing station in Derby, Vermont. Job Description

  • Manage all on-site construction activities for a historic renovation and restoration project.
  • Lead daily field operations to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and productivity objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field issues.
  • Ensure work is completed in compliance with contract requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain project documentation and communicate updates to project leadership.
  • Enforce jobsite safety practices and company standards.
  • Drive project completion milestones and support successful turnover of the facility.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in a Superintendent position.
  • Experience managing commercial, federal, municipal, or similar construction projects.
  • Strong field leadership and subcontractor management skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain schedules, quality standards, and safety compliance.
  • Experience overseeing renovation, restoration, or complex construction projects preferred.
  • Willingness to work on a project located in Vermont through anticipated completion in Feb 2027.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
