This collaborative team environment ensures you have the support needed to deliver projects successfully while continuing to develop your leadership and technical expertise.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor where you can work on meaningful projects, grow your career, and make a lasting impact.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent will be responsible for:Coordinate the work of all construction substrates in conjunction with the main office.Arrange, monitor and be present for agency inspections.Read and comprehend the information contained in architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape drawings and specifications.Review shop drawings and other reports prepared by testing and inspection agency. Prepare and monitor RFI's.Prepare daily report forms and progress photographs.Working knowledge and familiarity with computer operating systems including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel; and opening, preparing, scanning, printing, and sending PDF files and other documents.Actively engage design professionals, subcontractors, project managers, and local officials, when needed, to problem solve, mitigate conflicts, and resolve disputes.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly job site; and enforce job site safety standards.Develop and maintain the project schedule in coordination with the Project ManagerOversee daily field operations to ensure work is progressing safely, on time, and to specificationCoordinate subcontractor sequencing and ensure adherence to project timelinesConduct and lead regular jobsite meetings, including subcontractor coordination meetingsMonitor quality control and ensure all work meets company and client standardsIdentify and proactively resolve field issues, delays, and conflictsEnforce compliance with all OSHA regulations and company safety policiesTrack and manage material deliveries, inventory, and storage on siteVerify field conditions and ensure accurate layout and installation of workCollaborate with the Project Manager on budgets, scheduling updates, and cost impactsEnsure proper documentation and closeout procedures are completed, including punch lists and final inspectionsMaintain strong communication with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleSupervise and mentor Assistant Superintendents and field staffEnsure all subcontractors adhere to contract scope, quality standards, and safety expectationsAssist in project startup and mobilization, including site logistics planningMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
